Oggi's New "Bring the Heat" Menu Turns Up San Diego Summer

The new “Bring the Heat” menu at Oggi’s features all things spicy! Each new dish also suggests a unique beer pairing (for an additional cost) with one of Oggi’s award-winning craft brews. The new menu items include:

 

·        Hatch Chile Salad – Beer Pairing: Torrey Pines IPA

·        Habanero Pesto Chicken Sandwich – Beer Pairing: Tomlinson #21 SIPA

·        Spicy Harissa Chicken Sandwich – Double Up Double IPA

·        Moroccan Pizza – Hoppily Ever After IPA

 

The Hatch Chile Salad features a deliciously spicy Harissa grilled chicken breast on top of a bed of fresh arugula and spinach with roasted Hatch chile, red onion, corn, black beans, cilantro, and Feta cheese and tossed with housemade Hatch chile dressing. This salad definitely brings the heat! Even the half order of the salad is huge, great for sharing as a starter or a healthy entree. The best flavor combo goes to the Moroccan Pizza, a less spicy, but very flavorful option that will perk up your taste buds. The highlight is the fresh mint, bringing an unexpected twist to the combination of grilled Harissa chicken, mozzarella, shallots, fresh spinach, and Feta cheese. DO NOT MISS trying this pizza while it is on the menu for the summer!  The Spicy Harissa Chicken Sandwich takes the same delicious all-natural grilled chicken breast seasoned with Harissa hot chili and combines it with tomato, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, Provolone cheese, and fried shallots on a brioche bun. For Habanero lovers, try the Habanero Pesto Chicken Sandwich. Habanero pesto is tossed with grilled chicken breast topped with roasted red peppers, red onion, tomato, Provolone cheese, and argula, served on ciabatta bread.
