November 1 – Free Vegan Scoops at Ben & Jerry’s

World Vegan Day is Friday, November 1st, and from 4-8 p.m., Ben & Jerry’s is celebrating by offering free scoops of all vegan flavors at both Seaport Village locations – the only two Ben & Jerry’s shops in San Diego. Visit the West Plaza store for a free scoop of vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Caramel Almond Brittle or Coconut Almond Fudge, or try a non-dairy sorbet of Berry Berry Extraordinary or Lemonade. The East Plaza location will offer vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and non-dairy Berry Berry Extraordinary sorbet.

November 2 – Corazon de Vida Foundation’s Noche de Gala

Join us at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado for an evening in support of the orphaned and abandoned children of Baja. Featuring a champagne reception, Mezcal and Baja wine tastings, a delicious dinner, DJ and dancing. There will also be fantastic live and silent auctions that will include vacations, incredible experiences, dinner certificates, sporting events, and more. Corazon de Vida Foundation is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of Changing Lives from the Heartduring our annual Noche de Gala event to be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in the Crown Room of the iconic Hotel Del Coronado. The event kicks off at 5:30, is black tie optional and is $150 per person. November 3 – Pups on the Patio

Bring your four-legged friend and join Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse on November 3rd from 4 – 7 p.m. for a tail-wagging good time  to celebrate the restaurant’s one-year anniversary! Partnering with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, a company with a steadfast dedication to rescuing and protecting animals, $10 of every ticket sold will directly benefit the San Diego Humane Society.  Guests (and their dogs) are welcome to mingle, enjoy specialty cocktails and indulge in savory selection of hors d’oeuvres. The pups can revel in organic, homemade treats from a local dog bakery, along with swag and merch complimentary of Tito’s. Additional donations will be raised through fun raffle prizes, like doggie gift baskets, a Del Frisco’s date night experience, and bottles of wine hand selected by Wine Director Faith Fulginiti. Tickets are $50 and include two drinks, passed appetizers and dog treats. Reserve your ticket by calling 619.272.5060.

November 3 – Taste of the Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch

Taste of the Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch is taking place on Sunday, November 3rd.Enjoy tasty bites from Amici’s Ristobar, Baked Bear, Breakfast Republic, Fresh Brothers, Luna Grill, Madero’s, Pacific Social, Starbucks, Vitality Tap and Woku. Tickets, which can be purchased here for $25, with one-hundred percent of the proceeds benefiting Canyon Crest Academy, located next to The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch.

November 4 – Burlesque Show

Louisiana Purchase is spicing things up with their next Burlesque Show Monday, November 4th! A little bit sultry and a little bit sweet, mix things up with a moody evening filled with burlesque, booze and all that the Bayou Club has to offer.

Louisiana Purchase will open doors at 5 p.m. for the game and stay open once the sun goes down for their industry burlesque night. Specialty priced drinks will be offered throughout the evening and Chef Q will dish out buy-one-get-one steaks. The three burlesque shows are at 8:30 p.m., 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Space is limited, so reserve your spot by visiting OpenTable. Come early to catch the game, grab some food and stay for a sultry show! 

November 12 – National Happy Hour Day

Raise a glass to National Happy Hour Day on November 12th with Rustic Root’s all-day celebration on their open-air rooftop, boasting sizzling craft cocktails, delicious bites and unbeatable views of downtown San Diego. To help celebrate this national holiday, Rustic Root will be hosting a day-long happy hour with specialty food and beverage offerings, as well as a partnership with local charity It’s All About the Kids, donating a portion of the proceeds on National Happy Hour day to the organization. Rustic Root is proud to work withe It’s All About The Kids to help feed children in impoverished areas of our San Diego community. 

November 13 – Mezcal Dinner

Celebrate San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival with mezcal and skyline views at Coasterra’s Artisanal Mezcal Dinner on Wednesday, November 13. Chef Deborah Scott and Chef Aaron Allen will prepare five courses over open flames on the Harbor Float, entertaining guests as they enjoy some of the best views of the city. Dishes include char-roasted pumpkin, smoked Opah tartine with avocado and tomato broth, and horchata crème brulee. Co-founder of Mezcal Los Javis, Jaime Mateo, will be on-hand to guide diners through unique expressions of smoky mezcals alongside each course, which bring out the flavors of both the drink and the dish. For example, enjoy a barbacoa lamb shoulder in an earthy fig mole sauce alongside an old fashioned made with Los Javis Espadin reposado mezcal, fig syrup and chocolate bitters. Purchase tickets online HERE

November 14 – Garfield High School Foundation Thanksgiving Luncheon
On Thursday, November 14th, Cohn Restaurant Group celebrates the 22nd anniversary of a local nonprofit they helped lay the groundwork for: the Garfield High School Foundation’s Culinary Arts Program. This program gives at-risk youth the opportunity to obtain skills in the restaurant and hospitality industries that will contribute to their success in the future workforce. To date, the Cohns have helped raise more than $500,000 to help share their passion for culinary excellence and hospitality with future generations. The luncheon will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a raffle display and tray-passed appetizers. The Prado’s Executive Chef Jonathan Hale will lead students in serving a banquet-style Thanksgiving luncheon and hosting a program that includes a raffle drawing and auction. Individual tickets can be purchased for $60 each, or a table for ten can be purchased for $500. 

November 14 – Vérité Wine Dinner 
Join Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse for a remarkable evening with Vérité Winery on Thursday, November 14th. Sonoma County’s Vérité Estate Winery will present six of its most critically acclaimed Bordeaux-style wines, each carefully paired with accompanying dishes from Executive Chef Brian Christman of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. This event, in partnership with the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, will highlight rare wines that have each been masterfully crafted and rated 100 points by Robert Parker of The Wine Advocate. These standout wines begin with the 2014 Vérité La Muse, which offers notes of black fruit, violet, savory spice and cocoa powder, and the 2008 Vérité La Muse with phenomenal richness and a lasting finish. Next up is the 2015 Vérité Le Desir, a multi-layered and complex red, and the elegant 2005 Vérité Le Desir. To finish the evening, guests will enjoy the 2013 Vérité La Joie, a rich, complex and creamy Bordeaux, and the 2005 Vérité La Joie, composed of all five Bordeaux varietals, the first of its kind. November 17 – Self-Care Sunday

Join Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa for the final event of their #SelfCareSunday series, Pilates, Prosecco & Pies on Sunday, November 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sweat it out with Lululemon during a 50-minute toning pilates workout in the property’s beautiful garden, followed by complimentary cocktails, fitness snacks and holiday pie samples! Additionally, all attendees will receive exclusive discounts on trunk shows, a pool day pass, valet parking, 20% off the locally celebrated restaurant Mustangs & Burros and the chance to win some great raffle prizes!

November 20 – Holiday Menu Kickoff Party + Holiday Market
On Wednesday, November 20th Moniker Cocktail Co. will launch its seasonal holiday cocktail menu with a public party at Moniker General. Debut beverages include a Cranberry Mimosa, the gin-based Dream Work, and a Hot Buttered Rum topped with a scoop of buttered ice cream. This cocktail party is open to the public — no tickets or reservations necessary to attend. Beginning at 5 p.m., guests can order the new holiday cocktails and enjoy live music as they shop a curated holiday market on the outdoor patio. Vendors include Dear Survivor, Timshel Shop, Uptown Home, West Skin Care and more. Bradley Mountain, a group of six craftsmen who make bags by hand in San Diego, will also host a special leather goods workshop. More info here.

November 23 – Island Prime’s Pre-Holiday Wine Sale 

From 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., guests can sample various wines and utilize the beverage knowledge of the somm team to help find the perfect pairing for fall feasts or one-of-a-kind hostess gifts. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and guests can purchase wines at discounted prices. More info here

November 26 – barley-stache Silent Disco

On Tuesday, November 26thbarleymash in the Gaslamp District, is hosting their barley-stache Silent Disco to benefit the Movember Charity. The barley-stache Silent Disco will be taking place in ginger’s, located just beneath barleymash, and starts promptly at 9:00 p.m. Mustaches are optional and 70’s attire is encouraged, so break out your bell-bottoms, tie-dye and funky patterns for this fun-filled event for a good cause.

November 30 – Small Business Saturday
