The Taco Stand Opens in North Park

By February 9, 2018 No Comments

San Diego’s staple taco haven and local favorite, The Taco Stand, has opened in North Park at the corner of 30th and Upas. Inhabiting the space that previously housed Tacos Perla, this is the fourth location for the San Diego based brand with a cult-like following. In addition to its mainstay menu of tacos, burritos, and sides, this location also offers several beers on tap.

Inspired by the taco stands of Tijuana and many adventures along the Baja Peninsula, The Taco Stand offers an authentic taco experience featuring handmade corn tortillas and fresh ingredients. You can get any taco “protein style” – wrapped in lettuce – but why pass up a handmade tortilla, made in house daily? Stop by their sauce bar to load up on delicious salsas, cilantro sauce, and chipotle sauce to customize your tacos.

The hands-down taco champion is the Al Pastor – rotisserie marinated pork with cilantro, onions, cilantro sauce, and pineapple – for the most flavorful taco you’ve ever had!
