Oggi's Launched Fall Menu of Football Favorites

By November 9, 2017 No Comments

Oggi’s recently launched their “Football Favorites” menu for fall, featuring four new items, each with its own beer pairing, that will be available only for a limited time. We checked out Oggi’s new menu during their “Keep the Pint Night” that featured Bay City Brewing. Their Power Play IPA was delicious, with brightly aromatic hops that was juicy and fresh.

“We’re excited to welcome our favorite season with something special to cheer about,” said Jason Tsiames, Executive Chef. “Friends, family, food, and football are what Oggi’s is all about during this time of year. The new menu items are our top picks and are all worthy of wins across the board!”

My personal favorite was the Hawaiian Short Rib Tacos made with shredded beef short ribs and tossed in their original hula sauce. The tasty tacos are nestled in soft corn tortillas and topped with pineapple slaw, thinly-sliced red jalapeño, Feta cheese, and fresh avocado. The pineapple was a welcome surprise that livened the dish up to a whole ‘nother level. Pair with Oggi’s Sweet Spot Hefeweizen.

Game Day Greens: Consider yourself a champion with the Candied Bacon Salad topped with candied bacon bits, toasted almonds, and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese on fresh spring mix with house made sherry vinaigrette. The malt notes of Oggi’s Mcgarvey’s Scottish Ale harmonize perfectly with the sweet and salty flavors of the candied bacon.

All Out, All Game, All Season: Root for your favorite team while enjoying the BBQ Pork Nachos, made with crispy homemade tortilla chips and generously topped with pulled pork, chipotle BBQ sauce, Mozzarella cheese, black bean & corn salsa, and chipotle sour cream. Pair this dish with a refreshing Oggi’s California Gold Blonde Ale to complement the sweet and smoky flavors of the BBQ pork.

Sweet, Sweet Victory: Enjoy that game-winning touchdown with Oggi’s Apple Cinnamon Calzone made from house made pizza dough and filled with cooked cinnamon apples. This sweet treat is then topped with caramel sauce, powdered sugar, and whipped cream. Sip on Oggi’s Black Magic Stout for hints of coffee and chocolate to go with your dessert.

The Football Favorites menu and more are available now at Oggi’s Sports|Brewhouse|Pizza. To view a complete list of new menu items and to find the nearest location, please visit www.oggis.com.
