   November 1 – Del Sur Mexican Cantina Celebrates Día de los MuertosDel Sur Mexican Cantina, a neighborhood restaurant serving traditional Mexican cuisine, is celebrating Día de los Muertos on November 1st with fun for the whole family! East Village’s trendy new eatery BeShock Ramen & Sake Bar is hosting its monthly sake tasting event, led by co-founder and sake sensei Ayaka Ito. Nestled in East Village’s culinary enclave, BeShock is a welcome addition to the diverse and ever-growing San Diego restaurant scene. In addition to an extensive menu of authentic Japanese cuisine including ramen, sushi, salads, rolls, and bowls, BeShock is also home to a full bar with more than 30 varieties of sake, as well as rare selections that can be sampled in sake flights or sipped by the glass. Skip the mall and head to North Park on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 11a.m. to 6p.m for North Park Main Street’s Small Business Saturday event. Make your way to North Park for a shopping experience like no other with one-of-a-kind, locally made finds from shops such as Simply Local, Mimi & Red, Pigment, Dexter’s Deli, Art Elexia and more. Explore the neighborhood while enjoying live music, present wrapping, and scavenger hunts with a $300 grand prize! Shoppers can join in a fun neighborhood scavenger hunt by following along at @explorenorthpark on Instagram. Not to mention, there will be a “Shop Small” mural designed and painted in the neighborhood by a local artist and free Small Business Saturday swag given out to shoppers throughout the day.   November 30 -North Park Main Street Hosts Mistletoe MarketHead to North Park Way behind the Observatory and celebrate the community’s Mistletoe Market on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 3-9 p.m. This huge holiday party will feature real snow, pictures with Hipster Santa, live music, a Christmas tree market, food and drink vendors and activity area for kids. There will also be some magical fun for the adults with locally brewed craft beers and specialty cocktails being served throughout the event. Not to mention, North Park Thursday Market, Art Elexia, and over a dozen businesses will be participating in creating unique wreaths that will be auctioned off in a silent auction.  You can get your holiday decoration shopping done, all in one place!  All month – Movie Night in the ParkEvery Wednesday beginning at 7:00 p.m., join Park 101 for their Movie Night in the Park series, featuring favorite flicks shown on the outdoor projector. Come early for dinner, as there is something on the menu for the whole family at Park! Chow down on sandwiches, barbeque, salads and delicious side options.
