Super Bowl Sunday is just weeks away, on February 2nd and the following San Diego destinations are gearing up for game day with exciting food, drinks and event specials. Even if you’re not much of a sports fan, the Super Bowl is a great time to indulge in some wing specials, dips, cheap beers, and general camaraderie. So check out these San Diego spots where the televisions are large, the beer flows freely, and the snacks are plentiful.

No matter what team you’re rooting for, the key to any good sports bar is an endless stream of beer, TVs in every possible line of sight, and plenty of seats to park it. So grab a beer (or four) and settle in at the Corner Drafthouse, a neighborhood hotspot in Bankers Hill, to watch the most televised sporting event of the year. They will be broadcasting the game on all nine of their brand new TVs with the volume up and will be offering $5 select beers, $6 select wine, $7 select bar bites and $8 Super Bowl cocktails during the game and postgame.

Beginning at 3 p.m., guests can enjoy the big game on Above Ash Social’s 7’ x 12’ big screen, a tailgate snack menu including a nacho bar, local bucket o’ beer paired with Don Julio Tequila, along with the full beverage menu that will be available. Chef Michael Mina and Ayesha Curry’s Del Mar based restaurant, International Smoke will be offering menu specials dedicated to the two teams heading to the Super Bowl. From Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2, guests can enjoy San Francisco Wood-Fired Seafood Cioppino and a Kansas City Bone-In Strip Steak, choosing the dish, and team, they are rooting for. East Village brewpub 10 Barrel Brewing Co. is hosting the Ultimate Super Bowl Sunday Funday and will be offering a pizza, wings and a pitcher of beer for $35 on game day.
