On The Road: Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas

In just a few weeks, Las Vegas will host the annual Electric Daisy Carnival (May 18-21) at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The electronic dance music festival draws more than 400,000 visitors to Vegas as they dance the night to soundtracks created by Diplo, Kaskade, Kygo, Tiesto, A-Trak and many, many more.
Now on to one of the most important parts of a weekend getaway: where to stay? Since the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is 15+ miles from the Strip, this is the perfect opportunity to venture beyond the main drag and explore a few of the luxury properties that offer incredible amenities and are still in close proximity to the action.
Prep for EDC by booking a cabana and soak in the sun at Foxtail Pool or taking in a performance at The Sayers Club or The Foundry. For an upgraded experience, the W Las Vegas offers a unique “hotel within a hotel” experience within the SLS. The W offers up dining and drinking destinations including Cleo, Bazaar Meat by José Andrés and Katsuya; the signature Away Spa experience and much more. Want to check out the action on the Strip? You can hop on the Las Vegas Monorail directly from the hotel.
Sitting just off S. Las Vegas Blvd., the Las Vegas Marriott is located in the heart of the city with suite-style rooms that are the perfect place to call home during EDC with more room amenities at your fingertips!
