How to Craft a Perfect Bloody Mary

 Et Voilà’s master mixologist, Sami Saltagi is sure to shake, stir and garnish his way to your heart with this classic brunch favorite; The Bloody Marie. Made with Skyy Vodka, housemade Bloody Mary mix and topped with a variety of garden garnishes.  After years of experimenting with ingredients, this cocktail connoisseur knows his way around a Bloody Mary. Now you can too! Become the brunch bartender you were always meant to be with Sami’s Bloody Mary build out! Before you begin building your Bloody Mary… Sami’s tips for the Bloody Mary Beginner: 

  1. Use quality (canned) tomato juice. Tomato puree with a little water will also work. 
  2. Remember, it’s ok to get dirty! If you like it salty, give your Bloody Mary a briny kick by adding more pickle or olive juice.
  3. Spice it Up! Top off your cocktail with one of your favorite spices. Not sure which spices to try? Sami suggests cumin, basil or horseradish.

 Step 1. Prep Your Garnishes– mint– thyme Ingredients on Skewers:– carrot– onion– celery– pickles– pepperocinis – fennel sausage– bleu cheese olives Step 2: Bloody Mary MixMeasurements vary based on your flavor preference. So get weird with it!– tomato juice– tomato paste– horse radish – garlic– celery salt – pepper– paprika– lemon juice– olive juice or pickle juice– pinch of sugar or simple syrup For some additional flavor, add a splash (or two) of stout beer.  Step 3: Mix in the vodka of your choiceAdd as much or as little as you prefer. Don’t be shy! It’s five o’clock somewhere. Not sure which vodka to use? Sami recommends using Skyy Vodka. Step 4: Top off with your pre-prepped garnishes and drink up!
