Enjoy this cocktail for $12, no humanoid ice creatures included.  Manchester Grand Hyatt Celebrate all things Comic-Con at the Manchester Grand Hyatt with a variety of character-themed cocktails inspired by iconic movie, TV show and comic book favorites! Enjoy top-notch crowd watching while sipping on The Assassin at the Grand Lobby Bar, a cocktail featuring Effin black cherry vodka, raspberry liqueur and sierra mist. As the sun goes down, join the Night’s Watch at the Top of the Hyatt and enjoy the Jon Snow, a cocktail featuring Absolut vanilla, Bailey’s, crème de cacao and peppermint schnapps. Other fan favorites include the Captain America (Stoli blueberri, grenadine, sierra mist and blue curacao) and The Hulk (Smirnoff vodka, midori, sweet and sour, topped with redbull and pop rocks). In addition, Sally’s Seafood will offer Star Wars-inspired sushi menu and light saber chopsticks for guests looking to experience the “force” of Comic Con.  The CommonsThe Commons, a San Diego favorite located in the heart of the Gaslamp District, is celebrating Comic-Con 2016 with a costume party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Thursday, July 21 through Saturday, July 23. The costume party is open to the public and guests are encouraged to come in their best Comic-Con inspired costumes for a change to win raffle prizes including a Las Vegas getaway for two. There is no cover charge for this event.   Flour & Barley To get in the spirit of all things Comic-Con, Flour & Barley – Brick Oven Pizza Located at the Headquarters at Seaport District will offer two speciality cocktails inspired by mega-movies of 2016. The Dr. Strange Elixir, made with Midori liqueur, Stoli O, pineapple juice and a splash a lemon garnished with honeydew cubes, will remind you of a nuclear potion with its bright green color and the Suicide Squad Bomb, a muddled blackberry drink made with Pisco Kappa, Beefeater, Jose Cuervo Tradicional, Svedka and Triple Sec with a splash of Sprite is sure to leave taste buds with an explosion of flavor. Located less than a ten-minute drive from the San Diego Convention Center, Flour & Barley is the perfect place for convention goers to continue the festivities. A unique spin on a pizzeria eatery, Flour & Barley offers a creative menu featuring brick oven-style pizzas and fresh toppings. Cocktails are $12 each and will be offered between July 21– 24. Rustic RootLocated in the heart of San Diego’s lively downtown scene and just blocks away from the San Diego Convention Center, Rustic Root offers some of the best views of Comic-Con happenings from the only dedicated rooftop restaurant in the Gaslamp District.
