Bellamy’s Restaurant: Escondido's Hidden Gem

By October 26, 2016 No Comments

Maintaining its reputation as one of San Diego’s best restaurants, Bellamy’s continues to delight with innovative new takes on California Modern cuisine with French influences. The fall menu stays true to the cuisine it is best known for, with unexpected touches. While many restaurants claim to be “farm to table,” Executive Chef Jonathan Freyberg might even be able to tell you what tree it is off of. The Bellamy’s experience isn’t just about great ingredients, its about a passion for food that is increasingly rare in fine dining kitchens. We got the chance to sample some of the fall menu, our favorites below: Mouthwatering Maine Scallops, perfectly cooked with Cauliflower, Peas, and a flavorful Red Pepper Sauce. Yellowtail Crudo is a perfect starter with bright pops of flavor from Jalapeno, Cilantro, and Grapefruit.   Mountain Meadow Mushroom Ravioli is rich and decadent with incredibly fresh locally grown mushrooms and Parmesan in a robust Ruby Port Wine Sauce. The tender Moulard Duck Breast with Squash Pureé, Braised Endive, and a zesty Orange Glaze. For a decadent dessert, look no further than the Chocolate Bisou with Hazelnut Praline and a chilled Chocolate Mousse. Call 760.747.5000 to make your reservation today!Bellamy’s Restaurant417 W Grand Ave, Escondido, CA 92025info@bellamysdining.com
